KSIC gets IMS certification

BANGALORE: The Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation limited (KSIC) received the Integrated Management System certification (IMS) recently, becoming the first public sector enterprise in the state to have achieved it. The IMS from the international symstems certification agency TuV rhineland consists of three certifications — for quality, greenness, and health and safety of employees. KSIC has ISO-9001 certification for quality, eMS-14001 for greeness and OSHAS-18001 for employees’ work conditions.
